What we collect
Your name, email and phone model to run the account; precise location only while you have sharing switched on; and anonymous crash diagnostics so we can fix what breaks.

How location is handled
Location is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is only ever decrypted by devices inside your own circle. Our own staff cannot open a live map of your family.

Who can see what
Only people you invited, and only the members who agreed to share with you. Every member can hide their position for a set time with one tap, and the circle sees that they did.

How long we keep it
Location history is deleted after 30 days automatically. Chat messages are removed when you delete them or leave the circle. Account data is deleted within 14 days of a deletion request.

We do not sell data
No ad networks, no data brokers, no location marketplaces, no selling or renting of your movements or your family's. Famelack is funded by optional subscriptions, not by your data.

Pause sharing, leave a circle, export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings — no support ticket required. Questions go to privacy@famelack.app.
